For anyone trying to generate their own referral code, follow these steps:
1) Make sure your checking account is open and you have at least $5 in your primary savings account
2) Go to https://servicecu.org/pays2know/ and enter the email address associated with your account profile
3) Open the “Refer a Friend to Get $100” email and click the “Click here” link at the bottom of the email
4) The link creates a new draft email, which contains your referral code (the link isn’t limited to a single use)

This credit union will approve members nationwide if you join the American Consumer Council (ACC). It’s free to join the ACC with Membership Code “service” or “consumer”. They will ask you for your ACC member number and certificate.
