How To Bank on the Memorial Day Holiday
Since Memorial Day is federally recognized holiday, you will most likely not be able to shop at your local bank branch on May 31. While you may not be able to visit a branch in person you will still have access to your funds. You will still be able to use the ATM to withdraw or deposit money, or use online banking services to set up bill payments, check your account balances and transfer funds between your accounts.
It is also possible to use mobile apps or other online services such as Zelle to make money transfers. Be sure to check with your financial institution to see what services are open.
