Paying rent just got better – you can now earn rewards when paying rent with the Bilt Mastercard.

Update 6/26/23: This offer becomes available on June 27th in the Bilt app.
- Link your Lyft account with the Bilt rent app (free to signup) and you can get the following offer:
- Anyone with the free Bilt app can get a $10 Lyft credit.
- Bilt Mastercard credit cardholders can get $20 Lyft credit.
- Take a ride on July 1st to receive an additional $5 credit.
- After linking accounts, you must select ‘Activate Credits’ in the Rent Day tab. Activation will become available on June 27, 2023 and continue through July 1, 2023.
- The Lyft ride credit ($10/$20) will show under ‘Lyft Pass’ in the Payment section of the Lyft app.
- Credits can take up to 72 hours to show up and will be valid for 90 days.
Update 6/15/23: Bilt Reward sent out a targeted spend offer for June 14 through August 13, 2023 to earn 5x points in one of the following categories:
- Amazon.com (see terms)
- Select food delivery services: : DoorDash, Grubhub, UberEats, Caviar, and Seamless. (see terms)
- Phone and internet bills (see terms)
The bonus is for 4X bonus points on top of the regular 1x earn. It is capped at 5,000 points which corresponds to $1,250 in net purchases.
Update 5/18/23: It appears that Bilt has amended their terms to limit one rent payment per 30-day period. The transaction monitoring is designed to help prevent abuse and non-rent transactions from earning points with no fees.
You acknowledge that Bilt has a policy whereby it may hard reject (i) any individual rent payment in an amount over $20,000 (unless you contact Bilt at [email protected] for approval prior to initiating the transaction) and (ii) any attempt to make more than one rent payment to one payee within a 30 day period (exclusive of NSFs or blocked or returned payments). Rejected payments may result in you incurring fees or penalties from your property manager or other third party service providers.
Update 5/4/23: If you apply and get approved for the Bilt Mastercard, you will receive an email with the bonus offer on the same day that the card is delivered. The offer states that you will earn a total of 5X points on all eligible purchases for the first 5 days, up to a maximum of 50,000 bonus points. This promotional offer is only valid for 5 days from the date you receive this email, so it’s best to time your application well. Maybe you can make a tax payment for example.
Update 4/19/23: Bilt Members can earn 5X Bilt Points when eating at a Bilt Dining restaurant. You just need to be a Bilt Rewards member (free). Cardholders get an even better offer as they can earn 3X when paying with a Bilt Mastercard, for a total of 8X points. Currently limited to the following areas: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, & New York City.

- You can filter by location, cuisine, and price range, or let us make it easy and choose from Bilt’s curated “Best Ofs”
- Add an eligible card to your Bilt Wallet, use that card to pay for your meal at a Bilt Dining restaurant, and you’ll earn 5X points. You’ll also earn 3X when paying with a Bilt Mastercard®, for a total of 8X points.
You can also earn 100 bonus points for adding a card into your Bilt Wallet, up to a maximum of 300 points.
Update 4/11/23: Points cap has been increased from 50,000 to 100,000.
Update 3/28: Bilt Rewards is offering free Hyatt Explorist status for 90 days and the ability to keep Explorist status or upgrade to Globalist status through February 2025 with stays. To complete this deal you must:
- Bilt members must join the World of Hyatt loyalty program here if they don’t have an account already
- Link your Bilt Rewards and World of Hyatt accounts in the Bilt app under the “Travel” tab
- Between March 28 and April 1, choose “Unlock World of Hyatt Elite Status” on the Rent Day tab in the Bilt app
- Receive confirmation by April 17 of your World of Hyatt Explorist status and enjoy exclusive benefits for 90 days through July 16
- Complete 10 qualifying nights between April 17 and July 16 to keep Explorist status through February 2025, or complete 20 qualifying nights to earn Globalist status through February 2025
Update 3/8: Bilt has announced a partnership with Lyft that involves:
- All members: Earn 2x Bilt Points on Lyft rideshare when you link your Bilt Rewards and Lyft accounts.
- Cardholders: Earn 5x Bilt Points once you’ve linked your Bilt and Lyft accounts, set Bilt as the active loyalty rewards partner, and use your Bilt Mastercard to pay for Lyft rideshare (this includes the 2x above)
- If you link your Bilt account you won’t be able to earn points with other programs (e.g Hilton, Alaska)
Update 2/27: On March 1, 2023, Bilt Rewards will be offering a 50% bonus when redeeming points on Amazon.
Update 11/25: For the first day of each month, the Bilt Rewards card offers double rewards on Rent Day for 24 hours. For the upcoming holiday special: November 25th through December 1st cardmembers receive double earnings on all of their spend (rent is excluded and earns the regular 1x).
