TD Bank has three different savings accounts, each with its own interest rate. Each account comes with free mobile deposits and the ability to use any TD Bank
- TD Saving Accounts
- Simple Savings:
- 0.05% APY for all balances
- No minimum required opening deposit
- $4 monthly fee(if you choose online statements only) or $5
- You can waive that fee for the first year by:
- Linking a TD Bank checking account
- Setting up an automatic $25 recurring deposit every month
- After the first year, you’ll have to maintain a $300 minimum daily balance to waive the fee
- Growth Money Market:
- APY ranges from 0.03% to 0.25%
- High APY rates with automatic deposits of $50 or more per month
- No required minimum opening deposit
- $11 monthly fee (if you choose online statements only) or $12
- Waive that monthly fee by maintaining a balance of at least $2,000 a day or being 62 or older
- Preferred Savings:
- APY ranges from 0.05% to 1.00%
- Higher APY rates for linking any personal or small business checking account, credit card, home equity, or mortgage through TD Bank
- No required minimum opening deposit
- Charges no ATM fees when using non-TD Bank ATMs
- $14 monthly fee (if you choose online statements only) or $15
- Waive that monthly fee by maintaining a balance of at least $20,000 a day
