Author’s Verdict
This is actually a great idea if you’re worried of overdraft fees or losing your debit card. Those are just two of the main reasons that personally come to mind. With a debit card, you can easily lose money since it’s a direct way to your account. With a prepaid card, you only have what you have loaded in it so it lessens the chance of a potentially huge loss if you were to lose your card and someone picks it up. In addition, it’s great if you tend to overspend or spend more than you have. In that sense, this product is great for preventive measures but there’s definitely far more uses and reasons for this card! If you’re using a debit card to make purchases, I actually recommend you get use a credit card so you can potentially earn cash back rewards, offers, and such. Hello. I recently had my Chase account closed due to connection issues. I live in the country and lose my signal. I was trying to access info on the Chase website and kept getting disconnected. This apparently looked like suspicious activity and my account was closed. I ran across the Chase Liquid prepaid card. Is that something I could utilize even though my account was closed?
