how long is this 1.75% going to last?
It depends on the date when the account was opened and will last until the end of the following month after opening. For example, if you opened it on June 13, 2020, the 1.75% will be guaranteed until July 31, 2020. Then it will convert to the prevailing rate. From what I found on the bank’s regular rate information, the branch opened money market account rate was 0.01%.
