Like previously stated, with this card, you will earn 5x points at Ritz-Carlton and Marriott properties. You will also earn 2x points on airline tickets, car rentals and dining purchases and 1x point on all other purchases.
And yes, the points that you earn can be redeemed through both Ritz-Carlton and Marriott properties since the two chains share a loyalty program. Essentially, your Gold status will also apply to your Marriott hotel stays. This will allow you to be able to receive bonus points, potentially get free breakfast, and other beneficial gains.

For the 2 free nights, the certificate is valid for most properties within the Ritz-Carlton portfolio, and there are actually some nicer properties that can be found in this range. A standard room at the Ritz-Carlton usually cost about $300 or more per night, so this offer is quite a load off from your wallet! However, there are drawbacks to a certificate for free hotel nights. One would be that the certificate applies only to Ritz-Carlton properties. Another would be that the certificate is only valid for 12 months once given, so you must be mindful and plan accordingly.
This card is recommended for those who frequently stay at Ritz-Carlton hotels, or their partners and prefer to stay in luxury hotels. It is also great for those who are already current members of the Ritz-Carlton rewards loyalty program and want to receive higher earning statuses. But just make sure that the features will outweigh the annual fee!
