Author’s Verdict
With the Marukai Premium JCB Card, the 3% cash back earning on all purchases may sound highly appealing to you. Unfortunately, it is only available for those who live in California, Nevada, Oregon, Hawaii, or Washington.
And when you read the fine print, you will find out that you are required to spend $3,000 befor eyou can start earning the 3% cash back on your purchases — it does not automatically apply when you open an account.
To counter balance the limitations this card has and attract consumers, the JCB card includes a $15 bonus if you spend at least $1,000 annually or a $50 bonus if you spend $5,000 or more yearly. And every 100 cash back points that you earn can be redeemed for a $100 statement credit.
To top it off, the annual fee is only $15 and it is waived the first year, so there’s really not much to lose with this card.
