Things to Know
- TD Bank only accepts applications from the following states on some of their credit cards (e.g cash credit card): CT, DC, DE, FL, MD, ME, MA, NC, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, SC, VT, & VA. Other cards such as Aeroplan have no such restriction.
- They do not match sign up bonuses.
- They allow you to combine inquiries.
- Won’t let you product change between their cards.
- They offer you a free credit score, but it’s not your FICO Score.

List of TD Personal Credit Cards
Personal Cards:
- TD Cash Credit Card
- $150 cash back bonus when you spend $500 within the first 90 days of account opening – offer expires August 31, 2017
- 2% cash back on dining purchases
- 1% cash back on all other purchases
- $0 foreign transaction fee
- $0 annual fee
- Free VantageScore and credit education tools when you log in to TD Bank Online Banking
This card is worth offers a decent cash back sign up bonus. This is a pretty basic credit card with average rewards. If you don’t want to pay for foreign transaction fees or an annual fee, this could be a card to consider.
- TD First Class Visa Signature Credit Card
- 25,000 bonus miles
- 3X miles on all eligible travel and dining purchases
- 1X miles on all other purchases
- $0 foreign transaction fee
- Annual fee waived the first year, $89 each year thereafter
- Free VantageScore and credit education tools when you log in to TD Bank Online Banking
Earning 3X miles on travel and dining purchases is a nice reward. And even though the first annual fee is waived, it might be hard to justify paying $89 each year after that with knowing that there are credit cards available that offer the same or higher rewards for a lesser annual fee cost.
- TD Ameritrade Client Rewards Credit Card
- $100 cash back – offer expires June 30, 2017
- 1.5% rewards on all purchases
- 10% bonus when you redeem your rewards for cash back into an eligible TD Ameritrade brokerage account
- $0 annual fee
This card was launched back in June of 2015 seem to have always offered the same sign-up bonus and there haven’t been any targeted offers for more than $100. Likewise, this card isn’t that interesting due to the low sign up bonus and poor earning rate.
- TD Aeroplan Visa Signature Credit Card
- 25,000 bonus miles
- 2X Aeroplan miles on Air Canada net purchases
- 1X mile on all other purchases
- $0 annual fee the first year, $95 each year thereafter
- $0 foreign transaction fee
Unless you are a loyal and frequent Air Canada customer, this credit card’s bonus offer and reward earnings do not seem to be that appealing and worth it — especially with such a steep annual fee cost.
List of TD Business Credit Cards
Business Card:
- TD Business Solutions Credit Card
- $200 cash back offer expires August 31
- 3% cash back on phone, internet and cable services
- 2% cash back on dining and at gas stations
- 1% cash back on other purchases
- $0 annual fee
For this credit card, it has the best sign-up offer and earnings thus far compared to the personal versions. You get $200 cash back and can earn up to 3% on selected categories. Plus, there’s no annual fee to worry about! If you’re a small business owner, you may want to look into this and compare it with your other business credit cards.

With banks like TD, information about them are usually limited and may vary. This is because they are smaller card issuers, so not as many people may know or use these cards compared to those of Chase or Citi.
