This Golden 1 credit union is very good. I have heard too many complains about how they handle auto Loans and Mortgages; but I do not have any related experience with any of those. I do have the normal regular banking with a checking and a savings. I applied for their credit card and so far is excellent. Their APR is the best at least in comparison with any big banks out there. Their website has a lot of improvements through out the years. Their phone apps are excellent. You can deposit checks with your smart phone and the funds are ready within one day. You can most of your creditors thru their website. Al tough they need to update some of Creditors they have available in their site. Often they have your creditor under an old name and your payment will be rejected when you think it went. The solution is to send them an email asking to add your creditor with the right name. Very seldom I go inside for customer service. The smart apps and the co-ops ATM’s are always free of charge are always welcome. Big banks charge too much when you use another banks’ ATM.
This is the best part that you can go basically to any other credit unions and free of charge get some money.
