Chase Marriott Rewards Premier Plus Card Summary
Earning Points
The Marriott Rewards® Premier Plus Card gives cardholders 6X points per $1 spent at at over 6,500 participating SPG and Marriott Rewards hotels across 110 countries worldwide.
Then, earn 2X points for every $1 spent on everything else.
Your points don’t expire as long as your card is active every 24 months.
Redeeming Points
Redeem points for hotel stays, upgrades, airfare, vacation packages, cruises, merchandise, gift cards, charity, hotel and airfare.
I recommend redeeming your points for free hotel nights to get the best value out of your points. Marriott has a redemption chart where you can redeem for free nights in standard rooms. The number of points required depends on the hotel’s category or tier. Generally speaking, you can get a better redemption value from lowest categories.
If you don’t have enough points you can pay partially in cash with the Cash + Points option, starting at 3,000 points and $45.
You can also transfer your points to more than 40 airline partners at 3:1 ratio. Some airlines include Alaska Airlines, Japan Airlines, United Airlines, American Airlines, All Nippon Airways, and Korean Air.
