Hyatt Credit Card Summary
Author’s Verdict
The Hyatt Credit Card is offering 40,000 Bonus Points and an extra 5,000 Bonus Points for adding an authorized user — that’s enough for an additional free night at a Category 1 hotel. Cardmembers will receive an anniversary bonus of 1 Free Night every year. Like this card and most hotel and travel cards, there are no foreign transaction fees and includes travel and purchase insurance coverage but does carry an annual fee of $75. The Hyatt card offers 4 tier status levels: the Member, the Discoverist, the Explorist, the Globalist, and the Lifetime Globalist. With this card offer, you will automatically be given the Discoverist status. As a Globalist member, you get a room upgrade, free breakfast, lounge access, etc. It should be noted though that the Globalist suite upgrades and Explorist club upgrade awards can not be applied to free night certificates. All in all, this is one of the highest ranked hotel-branded credit cards in the market and should definitely be looked into.
