If you choose to to receive 3X the rewards, there are 13 categories in which you’ll be able to choose 1 category to receive 3 points in and can it within 30 days of opening your account. Author’s Verdict

The Huntington Voice Credit Card card offer is quite interesting. Being able to choose between 3X rewards or 3% lower interest rates definitely gives cardholders more leeway on how they can use their cards.

If you choose to to receive 3X the rewards, there are 13 categories in which you’ll be able to choose 1 category to receive 3 points in and can it within 30 days of opening your account. You can also change it prior to the start of each quarter for the next quarter. If you don’t remember to change or decide not to change each quarter, then the rewards will stay the same until you do.

And while you may earn 3X the rewards, there is a cap on the amount you can spend in your selected categories. You will get 3x points on the first $2,000 in purchases per quarter (maximum of 6,000 points). Any purchases made that aren’t within the 3x category will only earn you 1 point.

Additionally, Huntington Bank also gives you a 10% bonus on all points earned only if you have a Huntington 5 or 25 checking account open. This then makes the reward rate to become 3.3% in the category of your choice.

If you choose to receive 3% lower interest rates instead of the rewards, you’ll benefit by knowing the APR will not increase if you make a late payment. This will allow you to spend less money on finance charges and pay off your credit card balances faster.

Overall, the Voice Credit Card from Huntington is more global friendly, will give you more ways to save, and allow you to have a late fee grace which gives you an extra day to make payments!
